The Family farming National Seal is included in all of Monte Vêneto’s products. It was created by the Ministry of Agrarian Development to identify the products originated from this sector that has been growing and organizing itself to produce more and with higher quality.
Family farming is the biggest responsible for the production of the majority of food consumed by us, brazilians, everyday. There are several products present in our day-by-day lives and most of the time we do not even realise their remarkable presence.
For the producers the Family Farming seal is an instrument to add value. Since the products originated from family farming they promote values that are more and more demanded by the customers.
And for the consumers, the initiative contributes to make sure that family farming is developing and qualifying its comercial actions. For the buyers the seal is a guarantee of knowledge about the origin of the consumed products and also, contributes to the promotion of sustainability, social and environmental responsibility, and to the appreciation of local production and culture, by generating work, income and consequently, sustainable local development.
